Defeat Opponents In Madden 11 Tournaments For Money
Each year the biggest, baddest, and the most effective Madden players compete all across the country for a host of diverse prizes. There are actually money prizes that may range within the thousands of dollars and also gift prizes that can typically be a game program or some other item. There are many tournaments being held all across the nation. If you want to get involved there will likely be one close to you.
The staff at Electronic Arts (developers of Madden) have accomplished a masterful job. The game play is scary realistic and captures each aspect. The game modes that they supply are in-depth and in tune to real NFL situations. Each year, with this one as no exception, the game gets better and much better.
You might as well make some funds from performing some thing you had been going to do anyways. In case you think you got the skills and heart to go up against the best then prove it. Its about time you start playing against some real competition and stop beating up on your little brother. Show the world who's the real champion and make some funds although your at it.
EA does hold a yearly tournament, but it is very tough to qualify. You might no longer be playing against your small brother or sister. You will be playing against men and women who live, breathe, and sweat the game. You wouldn't desire to embarrass yourself on the major screen.
To be profitable within the tourney you must prepare your self. Playing against the personal computer on "All Madden" is wonderful practice. Should you be one of those that shy away from playing the pc, then the tourney is not for you. You shouldn't sign up if you are scared or unable to beat the laptop or computer on the highest level. You should be able to beat the personal computer on a consistent basis to even believe you've a chance to compete.
Each and every accurate fan of the game can admit to imagining wining a major Madden Tournament. It really is a big goal for any serious sports gamer. All the hours you spent on your couch and all of your preparation and work will lastly be worth some thing. If you ever happen to win a tourney and bring home several grand, your wife can no longer belittle your favorite habit.

Understand How To Fix Up Madden 11 Tournaments With Friends
Madden NFL is a very popular outfit in the gaming arena. Every time a new version is announced, its thousands of fans wait with bated breath for its release. Its popularity is unmatched, be it in the Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo or PC mediums. Madden 11 tournaments are held every year amid enthusiastic participation from fans all over. To host one of them, these are the things you have to consider.
Few events offer prizes and rewards to the winner but others are just played for the glory. To host an event for friends, you should probably decide if there is going to be a reward and hence, a participating fee. The events hosted on television offer lump sums of cash as rewards. Only the best players take part in these. For an event of this kind to be credible, you must ensure that the gaming is fair. The selection of the final winner must also be fairly done. Although there are not a whole bunch of rules to be followed, there are some general fundamentals to be followed. All the players must abide by these. One of the main rules is that on no account is a player supposed to bring his own console or controller. This is ensured so that tampering can be eliminated and all the players can start off on a level playing field. If there are any hints of tampering, either with software or hardware, you should immediately report it to the referee and punish the player. In such cases, the player is usually booted off the event. The presence of a referee is a must to make certain that there is no foul play. They have a bunch of duties. These include supervision of the game, the demeanor of players and also to see if every player complies with the dress code. The referees can also decide when is the correct time to pause the game. They should keep abreast of the technical details of the game so that they are able to identify any cases of manipulation of software, if brought to their notice. If a player tries to use any glitch in the software to his advantage, the referee must be able to recognize it. Other basics a host should be aware of are a zero tolerance policy is practiced with regard to abuse of referee. Be it verbal or physical abuse, the player has to be ousted to set an example for the other players. Also, no player should communicate with spectators while gaming. This is, again, to preempt any funny business. Headsets are not allowed. Damage of equipment also attracts penalty.
No attempts to fix the outcome of a game are tolerated. Any player attempting this has to be ousted. Depending on the magnitude of the event, other rules can be incorporated, as per the requirements. Madden 11 tournaments guidelines for online events vary from live events. The time period of play, difficulty level and game speed also has to be decided upon. Some of these factors also depend on how many players are participating.

The Curse of the Madden Cover Athlete
The release of Madden 11 will be one of the most hyped and anticipated events in 2010. This renowned franchise has been a phenomenon for the past 21 years. The team behind Madden even attends the NFL Draft every year in order to get headshots of rookies in their NFL uniforms as early as humanly possible. Along with the game's popularity has grown a huge pro gaming industry, and now the world's top Madden players can make a living playing in tournaments or even just online. And people are known to come up with every excuse in the book in order to get out of work on the very day the game releases - making it as close to a national holiday as the video game industry is likely to get.
Amidts the excitement of the game's release, it can be slightly bittersweet for some players, namely those who get rated badly and, above all, the one who graces the game's cover. Ever since 1999 when John Madden started putting players on the cover instead of himself, those players seem to either perform badly or suffer serious injury.
The Madden curse made it's mark again in 2009. In 2009, there were two players on the cover for the first time in the franchise's history. Defending Super Bowl Champion safety of the Pittsburgh Steelers Troy Polamalu goes head-to-head with one of the men he covered in the big game last February, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. In the Steelers' first game of the season against the Tennessee Titans, Polamalu suffered a medial collateral ligament sprain while blocking a field goal. He didn't return.
One would think that everyone in the league would have learned to avoid Madden by now. When EA Sports comes calling, it's probably in everybody's best interest to decline the offer regardless of how prestigious and financially rewarding the opportunity might be. As history has shown, going on the Madden NFL cover is almost guaranteed to affect a player, and probably his team, negatively.
Historical examples of the Madden Curse:
2002: After making it to the NFC with the Vikings in 2000, quaerterback Daunte Culpepper missed the final five games of the 2001 season (after being fatured on the cover) leading his team to a record of 5-11.
2003: Marking the beginning of the end of the "Greatest Show On Turf", Marshall Faulk of the Rams failed to rush for 1,000 yards in the 2001 season (for the first time since 1996) following his appearance on the cover of Madden 03 and his subsequent nagging ankle injury.
2004: For the third year straight, the cover athlete of Madden suffered injury. In 2003, it was QB Mike Vick, who missed the entire season due to preseason injury. Without him, the Falcons went 5-11.
2006: After taking a break in 2004, the curse was back at it for the 2005 season. Donovan Mcnabb was the cover athlete of Madden 06 and wouldn't you know, he suffered a sports hernai in week one, causing him to eventually get sidelined for the second half of the year.
The evidence is stacking up. Whether it's just the impact on your attitude after being featured, whether it just effects your concentration in the preseason and training camp, or whether it's something more...mysterious, who knows.
